This poem is a rebuke against the casual and corrupt attitude in giving deceitful speeches, and glossing over the lies told to the public at large, by those in positions of governmental "service." Their glibly given responses by giving the next talking point is obnoxious and wearisome to, "We The People." It shines the light on that faulty attitude and therefore, condemns it soundly.
