A Nation Adrift

This poem is a rebuke against the call of "modern thinkers" to get rid of the old "antiquated" rules and authority, and just let men be free (anarchy).  Tongue in cheek, it says to:  remove the anchor, rudder, and compass; take out the steering wheel and the brake;  no more the voice of authority;  take away signs and the speed limit;  and the Bible and Ten Commandments.
