The False Comfort Of Appeasement

This poem is a rebuke against the false doctrine of appeasement.  It stresses history's precedent,  calls appeasement a silly fanciful hope,  calls politicians that appease ignorant and immature, just to name a few. The fourth couplet states: "England had their N. Chamberlain,  Who was duped by Adolf Hitler,  With a demon you can't bargain,  Winston Churchill made England sure."  (continued below)

(continued from above)   It ends by stating,  that we should never negotiate with terrorists,   and certainly not set them free to murder again.   Such weak political-will  is full of folly.   Oh for true Statesmen again!
