Policing The Vermin Of Society

Policing The Vermin Of Society

This poem is written to give proper credit to our police forces that daily put their lives on the line to uphold the rule of law.  It emphasizes their integrity, skill, training, and tremendous restraint while policing.  It gives an overview of the daily danger they face and the wisdom they portray in doing their difficult job. (continued from above)    The fifth couple reads:   "Treating men with dignity,   Still with a most watchful eye,   Working with civility,   Yet not naive,  lest they die."    The last two couplets read:   "A lively "Hip - Hip - Hooray,"   For these special servants true,   Who go oft into harm's way,   Protecting both me and you."    "May these words of gratitude,   Fall on many hearing ears,   Ne'er to treat  these stalwarts rude,   But to meet with rousing cheers."   We  appreciate our  great  police  forces,  their  dedication,  courage,  valor,  and  integrity  for  what  is  right.   Our  police  forces  are  true  vanguards  of  liberty  on  the home-front!    Our  deepest  respect  for  the  99.9 %  that  do  daily a  great  job!    Our hats are off  to police officers,  sheriffs,  all  levels  of  law  enforcement!    This  poem  would  make  a  great  gift  to  police  officers  everywhere.
