Self Evident Truths

Self Evident Truths

This poem defines what these words mean in their context of how, when, and by whom they were written,   They talked about their true faith in God, and wrote that they were endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. They believed their rights came from God not government.   The modern day revisionist twists this all about and is most disgraceful.         (continued below)

Self Evident Truths,  20 lines

(continued from above)     Each couplet takes a phrase and elaborates on it.     The poem closes as follows:   "Nothing here is obscure or hard to see,   It is as clear as the nose on your face,   Those who deny this speak with vanity,   To seek to revise their meaning ~ disgrace."     We need to educate our modern day society about our exceptional nation and our great Constitution.   A good primer to help others know these key phrases.
