Appalling Trade, And Most Arrogant Breech

This poem is a stern rebuke against the unwise prisoner exchange: the trading of war criminals (terrorists) for a deserter.  It declares this to be a mockery to our brave men, a violation of our Constitution,  a setting aside of American law,  and is hypocrisy in the raw.  It states that such actions are so very deplorable and border on the treasonable.             (continued below)

Appalling Trade,  And Most Arrogant Breech,  20 lines

(continued from above)    The poem closes:   "Mocking of our military,   In grotesque arrogance and pride,   Doing everything contrary,   By these policies ~ men have died."   A deplorable prisoner exchange indeed.
