Laboring In Hope

Laboring In Hope

This poem emphasizes the strong need to labor long hours, in hope to see its fruit come about.  It takes time from the root to the fruit, and therefore one must persevere to the time of fruition.  When in times of despair, the poem teaches to take care to garner wisdom, and not allow emotions to cause one to "throw in the towel."  (continued below)

Laboring In Hope,  20 lines

(continued from above)   The fourth couplet says:   "Perseverance is the vital key,   To make it over the way that's steep,   To labor on - though you cannot see,   By a good strong faith in God to keep."
