THE BUSY BEE, 24 lines
(continued from above) The bee furthermore, is a lesson to man about creation, of industry and charactered hard work, of engineering, of societal cooperation, of defense, of faithfulness, and the list goes on and on. Many valuable lessons can be learned. The 5th couplet says: "The busy bee prepares for the winter's cold, Storing up honey to keep themselves alive, A bigger task does God give the bee so bold, To give to plant life and trees new life to thrive." The honey bee has a built in compass in it's eye which leads it back to the hive. The worker bee tells the location of a food source when returning back to the hive by it's movement (waggle) and direction to other bees. They then stoke up only enough honey (fuel for their wings to fly) to reach that source and return with the payload. Such intelligence is given by Divine design of our benevolent Creator to provide for our needs. Enjoy!
