To Run, To Hide, And To Scream, Naught The American Seam, 20 lines
(continued from above) The poem makes the point that the criminal must think twice when citizens are armed. The poem is a good defense of the Second Amendment of the Constitution, especially on the backdrop of current events where folks have to run, to hide, and to scream when a gunman is on the loose. American history shows clearly that the armed citizen in the way of safety and freedom. This is part of the American seam. It is hard to live the American dream when one can't live by the American seam. (We have another poem on that subject). Happy reading!
