(continued from above) The tenth couplet reads: "Freedom ~ Oh Normandy ~ thy day did come, Answer to the millions of cries and prayers, Thy beach ~ no longer silent ~ deaf and dumb, Suddenly alive with a faith that dares." We honor those D-Day Veterans still living, and who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, with these lofty words of praise!
