No More A Victim, Of Such Strange Dictum

No More A Victim, Of Such Strange Dictum

This  POEM  is  written  as  a satire  showing  one  who  no longer  will  listen  to the vain "dependency" doctrines,  and makes the choice to become self  reliant.  The  fifth couplet declares, "I have heard enough, It   has   made   me   sick,         No  more  "welfare"  stuff,           I'll  trim  my  own  wick."               It  is  a  national  disgrace that freeloaders live off of the sweat and labor of hard working folks. It is time for  character  to  rise and  slothfulness  to  be rebuked  and  disdained.
