American Leadership Is Indispensable

This poem relates the greatness of the United States of America in its founding and that it has been given the unique responsibility to lead in the free world.  Not to do so creates a vacuum.  It stresses the folly of waiting for others to lead when they don't have the wisdom to do so.  It also stresses the importance of American leadership being real and not fake, strong and not weak, revived and not profane. American Leadership Is Indispensable,   2 pages, 32 lines

(continued from above)    It emphasizes that America's greatness and leadership is intrinsically related to a right relationship with God and His principles.  That our leadership is weakened by national sins,  profane living,  and carnally sowing.   An appeal is made to return from the wilderness to the place of His blessing and great usefulness.   The seventh couplet reads:   "Wilt Thou not revive us again this day,   No longer keep us in our wilderness,   Help us once again to watch and pray,   That You may intervene and greatly bless."
