Trying To Milk A Bull

Trying To Milk A Bull

This poem plainly states that one seeking to live without God,  makes as much sense as one seeking to milk a bull!    It tasks those profane,  with how untenable is their position and condition   To truly live and not merely exist,  takes faith in God and having His help.   It condemns the self-profession of wisdom,   and labels it as foolish.   It then transitions from the living of temporal life to the eternal.             (continued below)

Trying To Milk A Bull,  20 lines

(continued from above)   The poem closes:   "Living every moment of their fast fleeting lives,   Run merrily in blindness ~ though some do compel,  Headlong into much vanity their  lifestyle  thrives,    All the while in foolishness ~ one heart beat from Hell."   Our sincere desire is that many will understand their need of God,  seek His light,  trust His provision for salvation.
