(continued from above) The Scriptural authority for law enforcement, and for war, such as justice and retribution, calls them the minister of God. Those under authority, the powers that be, have the Scriptural mandate to punish evildoers. These men sent forth to fulfill this mission are not rogues or vigilantes, but highly trained and disciplined people to do a vital and necessary job. The 9th couplet reads: "Justice and retribution, Sometimes involves making war, To root our ~ the solution, Here ~ God's Word ~ is at it's core." The 11th couplet says: "The military sniper, That is fighting for the right, On principles that are pure, Are upheld by Scripture's light." Of course, Jesus came to fulfill His Father's will - to provide redemption for all of mankind (virgin birth, blood atonement, bodily resurrection), - and ascended back up to Heaven and is seated (His work is finished) at the Father's right hand. He would that all men come to Him to be saved. Unrepentant murderers must face His justice, both in life, and in eternity in Hell. Silly sentimentalists and appeasers know not the Scripture nor the power of God. A good read for all.
