Scorning American Might, D-Day Won The Fight

This poem is a rebuke against the cheap criticism and envy against American military might.  The poem highlights the character of the D-Day liberators who stormed the beaches of Normandy to free Europe from Adolf Hitler and the ruthless Nazi hordes.  Had it not been for their bravery, sacrifice,  and might, ~ what would the world have become back then?  (continued below)

Scorning American Might, D-Day Won The Fight,  20 lines

(continued from above)      D-Day is proof enough  as a testament of America's greatness  and might militarily.   To the men that stormed those beaches the world owes a great debt.   Many gave their lives to liberate Europe.   Only envious people mock it.   Used as a force for good,  may it ever be.   Our brave military of every day and age has stood,  and stands ready to defend freedom.   Our military,  which is second to none,  is the most powerful source for good on earth (humanly speaking)  which is governed by our laws and morality.   It is the most disciplined fighting force,  with proper accountability for its actions.   We wholeheartedly salute our military!
