Oh, How Many ~ White Crosses And Stars

Oh, How Many ~ White Crosses And Stars

This poem elevates the solemn dignity of the many white crosses and stars that cover the landscapes of National Cemeteries. The sixth couplet reads:   "No, these brave souls have not fallen or died in vain, They gave their all, their very last ounce of courage.  They sang the battle cry of freedom's sweet refrain,  They're now a part of our National heritage."   (continued below)
