Oh Normandy, Thy Day Did Come, D-Day June 6, 1944, (Small Print)

This poem  seeks  to  capture the fast flowing pace of the Normandy  invasion  force storming those beaches on D-Day.  It paints a portrait of heroism,  bravery,  death  and dying, anguish and sighing, as men crawled their way through the  chaotic  maze  of  steel, bullets, and shells.  The poem stops the motion in searing reflection  of  duty,  honor, country, and stark dedication.
