I Have S. V. D. D. ~ Satire, Socialistic Victimhood Dependency Disorder

This  POEM  is  a  satirical lampoon  to  mock  at  the mindset  of  the  slothful  who never  intend  to  do  any work. It  labels  this  person  with  a farcical  acronym  with  it's meaning written in long form. Sadly, this is more true than we would  like  to  think,  as  many have grown up without proper character training to learn the value  and  joy  of  good  old fashioned work, stewardship, and  the  proper  pursuit  of happiness.  (continued below)

I Have  S. V. D. D. ~ Satire,  Socialistic  Victimhood  Dependency  Disorder,  2 pages,  36 lines

(continued from above)     The blindness and lack of conscience  is embodied in the satire.  It is written as if the lazy loafer  is doing the talking,  revealing the attitude of heart  and mind  of the  "professional welfare recipient"  et al.   We trust that this poem  will bless,  stir,  challenge,  and yes,  humor  many hearts and lives.   The 6th couplet states:   "From them comes my daily food,    And also my medicine,    Do not think me to be rude,    I believe in their doctrine."    The 9th couplet closes the poem:    "I do have S.V.D.D.,    I am very sick you know,    The most liberal party,    Never to me does say no."
